Angie Trudell Vasquez received her MFA in Creative writing with a concentration in poetry from the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Her work has been widely published in print, on stage and online nationally and internationally. She is the current city of Madison’s Poet Laureate (2020-2022) and the first Latina to hold the position.
